Norwich Dance Weekend
A hugely enjoyable few weeks in the summer, where we had the Big Dance Weekend, Lord Mayor’s Celebrations, Olympic Torch Relay, and the Norwich Lanes Fayre. Bo Nanafana had some great stages featuring the likes of Derriere, The Vagaband, Das Fenster & the Alibis, dj78, Greg’s Greats, etc.

The Norwich Time Travel Team premiered a new historical walk last night, featuring tales and song as we heard about some of the darker sides of the City’s history, from our time travelling steampunk guides.

Norwich Time Travel Team Blitz Walks
I recently went on a couple of war walks in Norwich, commemorating the Baedeker Blitz of 1942, the Time Travel Team concentrate on St Benedicts Street, and the two well-informed wardens in period clothing give a fascinating, informative and entertaining tour, with anecdotes, historical details and even some music and jokes of Al Bowlly and Max Miller.
